DESCRIPTION: Yugo rarely answers his radio due to being off tinkering unless you yell loud enough into it.
DESCRIPTION: Yugo stays with Carly, so the mail pouch she made is perfectly serviceable.
[Radio | Day 145]
Yugo? Yugoooo. Hey, pick up.
[He sounds tired.]

Mn-huh...?
[Said while half-asleep after managing to blindly grab and work the thing.]
What?
no subject
Hey, someone else from our group of dimensions showed up. It's Reira--you remember Reira, right? He was a lancer with the rest of us, and he was going to participate in the Friendship Cup until Tsukikage took his place.
[That probably all means more to Yuya than Yugo. Er--] He's a little kid and he wears a teal hoodie. Can you help keep an eye on him while he's here?
no subject
.... Sure okay.
[No big deal right?]
no subject
[The radio clicks off and he almost leaves it at that.
And then he remembers one other important detail.] Uh, one more thing. How much do you remember about Zarc? [Being Zarc.]

Mailbox - Holiday Gift
Yugo,
I bought too many books. This one looks about your level, so I'm giving it to you.
-Rita Mordio
[The book is titled Thermodynamics for Dummies, and as one would expect, it explains the laws and concepts of thermodynamics in a way that's accessible to laymen and older children, with helpful illustrations and examples.]
[Of course, the title alone might make one wonder... is this a gesture of goodwill? An insult? Both, somehow? At the very least, it looks like Rita thought of Yugo while she was gift-shopping, so maybe that counts for something... maybe.]
B19, morning
BOX IN HIS TRAILER: WITH NOTE
"Yugo-
Don't crash this one.
The Ringmaster❧"
[Her signature is so massive and florid that it fills up the rest of the paper. When they open the box, they'll find a tiny pocket motorbike. Importantly, though, it is capable of hovering a distance above the ground - and even more importantly, it is capable of being stashed in one's pocket, like some kind of absurd slight of hand trick. When it is deposited on the ground it will be a rideable size, but in the pocket, it will be toy sized.]
during winter break
I tried to do those bikes you like so much, but they didn't turn out right. Sorry!
B19
It comes with a handwritten note from Connie: ]
Happy Holidays! I love books, and I hope you do too!
If you don't like this particular one, maybe you'll find one more to your liking in at the Book Swap!
[ Included is a crude drawing of the cabin layout with a star pointing to where the book swap is located. ]
operation "gold medal surprise party for steven"
no subject
[Though he actually pauses for a sec to try and remember who that kid was.]
That's awesome! In which sport?
no subject
Professional wrestlin', apparently. I plan on throwin' a surprise party for him. Wanna help?
no subject
[Not that Yugo has any idea either that Steven really isn't that far in age from himself. But he's just going off what he's minimally observed from Wismuth.]
Are you guys still just getting started in setting everything up?
no subject
[Not that he plans to keep it that way for long.]

NIGHT 59
Someone is Waiting, Yuugo. Waiting, arms crossed, on her porch, until it's just Yuugo outside.
Uh oh.]
YUUGO!
[Oh no.] INSIDE, NOW!
[OH NO!!!!]
no subject
But it's what happens when one is a reckless idiot that runs off and finds trouble. Yugo flinches at Carly's sternness and really can't find a suitable excuse not to do as she asks with his passenger left to presumably rummage around in their own trailer before any sort of medical treatment at the med tent.]
Um.. okay. Yeah. Sure.
no subject
MNHHH...YOU..!
[And then release the hug for the Bad part.] What were you thinking!? [She shouts,] Why were you out there, Yuugo..!?
[Hey, maybe he was out reading with someone before the shadows, never know-]
no subject
I was just looking at books in a different corner of the place with Yusei before those shadows got draped everywhere.
[So good to know that this one wasn't disobeying the buddy system?]
no subject
Okay....But then where...IS....YUUSEI..! [she protests, half of her words a breathless sound of exasperation.] What happened to your partner..!? We don't even know if they're SAFE now..! They don't know if YOU'RE safe, and...
Mnhhh...you should have called someone, at least..! [Really, she's just having her typical overreaction it seems.]

Day 90
So when Yuya's visiting the medical tent, he makes a pointed visit to where Yugo's laid up, leaning over to see how conscious he is.] Yugo?
no subject
Yugo is more than conscious, he's sitting on the cot in the middle of fumbling with his mess of a shirt. But dealing with the specially tailored clothing he has usually takes him this kind of time for him to get back on. He pauses at this when Yuya calls to him.]
Huh? Oh hey Yuya, what's up?
[What serves as ears on him looks to be covered in short bristly fur from presumably his dog form in Eden.
And though he doesn't have a startling hole in his chest like Gongenzaka does... the skin there seems to have turned into startlingly dark scales, giving his fae mark there a greater contrast to shimmer against.]

[Which shows that Yugo's own stubbornness still remains intact as well. But he does glance back down at his own wrists, wrapped up in bandages. Iron needs more time and non-magical means to heal.]
